Abstract

The text of the present Decree consists of 12 sections placed under the following headings: Control after catch (sects. 2-4); Control by the receiver (sects. 5-6); Public control (sects. 7-10); Penal provisions, enforcement and entry into force (sects. 11-12). All catch which supposedly contains herring of 20 centimetres or less shall be subject to control and taking of samples according to the present Decree. Public control shall be carried out by the State Herring Control Office. Section 4 provides for the control of mixed catch.
