Abstract

Pursuant to the present Decree, the Department of Fisheries is empowered to: grant permissions to purchase or operate a fishing vessel in accordance with the Act relative to property rights on fishing and hunting vessels; to take the measures pursuant to with various provisions of the Act regulating fishing for herring and sprat of 1937, and; to take measures in accordance with various provisions of the Marine Fisheries Act of 1955 (now the Marine Fisheries Act of 1983).
