Abstract This Decree of the Ministry of Environment sets out requirements and standards applicable to polluting substances, with a view to enhancing the protection of the ozone layer. The Decree establishes (i) maximum allowed quantities of imported controlled substances, according to Annex 4 of the Air Protection Act; (ii) maximum allowed quantities for hydrochlorofluorocarbons; (iii) conditions to request the permits specified in the Air Protection Act; and (iv) conditions for using controlled substances.
