Entry into force notes
This text enters into force the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia (published on 20 October 2023), and it begins to be applied when the state border between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia is declared on the basis of the final ruling of the arbitration court on the basis of the Arbitration Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Government of the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia-International Agreements, No. 11/10) from 29 June 2017, registered in the records of the state border.
Abstract

This Decree determines the competent authority, the processing of applications for the issuance of a special permit for commercial fishing, the validity of the special permit for commercial fishing and the method of notification of the fulfillment of the annual permitted quantity of fish caught for the implementation of Regulation (EU) No. 1380/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Common Fisheries Policy, amending Council Regulations (EC) No. 1954/2003 and (EC) No. 1224/2009 and repealing Council Regulations (EC) No. 2371/2002 and (EC) No. 639/2004 and Council Decision 2004/585/EC, last amended by Regulation (EU) 2017/2092 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 November 2017 on the amendment of Regulation (EU) no. 1380/2013 on the common fisheries policy (OJ L No. 302 of 17 November 2017, p. 1). The Ministry issues a special permit for commercial fishing for each fishing vessel of a member state for the calendar year. Method of informing about the fulfillment of the annual allowable amount of fish caught is laid down in article 6.
