This Decree enters into force on 20 December 2018.
Abstract

The purpose of this Decree of the Ministry of Health is to protect human health from the adverse effects of noise. The present Decree, which is composed of eight paragraphs and four Annexes, lays down, in accordance with European Union legislation, noise emission limit values, their calculation for noise generated by road, rail and air traffic and noise originating from installations covered by the Integrated Prevention Act, requirements for the content of strategic noise maps and action plans, details on informing the public about strategic noise maps, the preparation and public participation in draft action plans. The strategic noise map contains a map, table and text part describing the existing noise situation, number of persons, houses, schools and bedside health facilities exposed to the values ​​of the noise indicators set out in Annex 2 to this Decree in the area for which a strategic noise map is required.
