Abstract This Decree of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia lays down the types of pollution which are the subject to environmental tax for pollution caused by waste water discharge (called environmental benefits), rules of the calculation of environmental benefits, method of the calculation of environmental taxes for each type of pollution, and method of the calculation of assessment of individual types of environmental taxes. The present Decree is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Environmental tax for environmental pollution caused by industrial waste water discharge (Sec. 2); Environmental tax for environmental pollution caused by urban waste water discharge (Sec. 3); Record keeping and registration of taxpayers (Sec. 4); Inspection (Sec. 5); Penalty provisions (Sec. 6); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 7).
