Abstract This Decree, based on the provisions of the Slovenian Energy Act, determines the period and amount of energy savings, the method of calculating energy savings, the distribution of energy savings by individual years of a given period, the manner and deadlines for meeting energy savings obligations and the types of energy services and measures to achieve energy savings. This text also defines the amount of contributions of energy use for increasing energy efficiency implementation of the Eco Fund programme (Slovenian Environmental Public Fund). Energy saving is the amount of energy saved by final customers, determined by measuring or estimating consumption before and after the implementation of one or more energy services or measures aimed to improve energy efficiency; energy efficiency improvement programme is a programme aimed to promote energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources by end customers.
