Abstract

This Decree, as in accordance with the provisions of the Croatian Law on energy efficiency, determines the manner of contracting energy services for the public sector and its consumptions and energy needs. This text also sets necessary obligations of energy service providers and contracting authorities and the content of energy performance contracts, including issues on budget monitoring of energy services for related contracting authorities for energy services in the public sector. These provisions are here intended for different types of energy consumption and supply, and its savings that shall be calculated, including water supply, and energy deriving from renewable energy sources such as solar energy, biomass, geothermal energy, district heating and cooling, cogeneration, heat pumps that use the environment as an energy source. Value of water savings is a monetary value of savings calculated as the product of water savings and the unit price of the water unit of account at the time of calculation.
