This Decree enters into force on 1 July 2014.
Abstract

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of seven articles and one Annex, lays down conditions of the use of the optional labeling and information about the origin of agricultural products and foodstuffs in the Slovak Republic. These provisions apply to agricultural products and food placed on the market in the Slovak Republic. The origin of agricultural products and foodstuffs in the Slovak Republic and their regional can be expressed in words, through maps or other symbol only for those agricultural products and foodstuffs which satisfy the conditions laid down by this Decree.
