This Decree enters into force on 15 September 2023.

Abstract

The present Decree, adopted by the Ministry of Environment, implements the Nature Conservation Act (No. 9 of 2023) and lays down rules on voluntary ecological compensation. It contains rules on equivalence in terms of natural values; assessment of the condition of natural values; assessment of the deterioration of the natural state of an area; assessment of the change in the natural state of a compensation area; equivalence in terms of natural values for threatened natural values; compensation plan; etc.
