Abstract The present Decree, adopted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, applies to the control of Category A animal diseases as defined in Article 3(1)(3) of the Animal Diseases Act (76/2021). It contains provisions regarding: 1) a ban on vaccination of animals against Category A diseases; 2) exemptions from the requirements for animal health certificates during the movement of terrestrial animals and products within the country; 3) final disinfection in a facility where the presence of a disease has been confirmed; 4) zones to be established due to African swine fever, and measures for disease control in these zones. The Swedish Food Agency shall, as risk-reducing and biosecurity measures referred to in Articles 64 and 65 of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/687, adopt the measures described in Article 7.
