The principles concern, among other things: balanced crop production with a view to crop rotation, drainage, fertilizing, tilage, pruning, etc.; regular cleaning of machinery and equipment; appropriate natural phytosanitary measures; monitoring of pests; restriction of the use of pesticides and other control measures and prevention of resistance in plants to pesticides.
