Abstract

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, based on paragraph 2 of section 4 of the Law on Plant Protection Products, lays down in its Schedule, principles on integrated pest management. The principles concern, among other things: balanced crop production with a view to crop rotation, drainage, fertilizing, tilage, pruning, etc.; regular cleaning of machinery and equipment; appropriate natural phytosanitary measures; monitoring of pests; restriction of the use of pesticides and other control measures and prevention of resistance in plants to pesticides.
