Abstract School forestries shall be voluntary associations of students set for educational purposes, including rational management of forest resources. The purposes of school forestries shall be: (a) educational: study of the forest stock, theoretical and practical knowledge of forest management, inventory, protection against forest fires and protection against pests and diseases; (b) practical: mastering of forestry protection measures, including afforestation and reforestation, collection of forest seeds, exposure and protection of endangered plants, animals and birds. School forestries shall carry out their activity on the territory of the public forest stock allotted thereto by the state forestries.
