Abstract This Decree, consisting of 6 articles, creates the Biological Protected Reserve "Bom Jesus" within the municipalities of Antonina, Guaraqueçaba and Paranaguá, in the State of Paraná. It aims at the preservation of the following issues: Atlantic forest ecosystems, in particular the sub-formation of Ombrófila Densa forest and other; related fauna; and local hydrographical network in order to protect and preserve its endemic wildlife, ecosystem and habitat.
