This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, consisting of 3 Titles, divided in 70 articles, establishes the Regulation and related norms to implement National guidelines on basic sanitation, established by Law No. 11.445. It specifies environmental sanitation public services, regulates environmental planning procedures, technical, economic and social aspects. The Decree is divided as follows: General provisions (Title I); Guidelines of public services for basic National sanitation (Title II); and Federal Policy on Basic Sanitation (Title III).
