Abstract This Decree, consisting of 9 articles, creates the State Park of Serra Dourada, located in the municipalities of Mossâmedes and Buriti within the State of Goiás. It specifies geographical limits of this State Park created in order to preserve water springs and sources, flora, fauna, natural heritage and local ecosystems. In addition, this Decree aims at controlling Regional soil occupation, harmonising fauna and flora protection with the rational and sustainable use for scientific, economic, technical and social purposes.
