The Decree applies to waters of ICES area III and Swedish inner waters as described by Act 1966:374, with the exception of inner waters of the Kattegat and the Skagerak and to exportation to Member States of the European Union (art. 2). Fish exported shall meet requirements laid down by comma 5.2 in Annex 1 of Commission Regulation (EC) No. 466/2001 setting maximum levels for certain contaminants in foodstuffs.
