Persons over 16 years of age who wish to fish for anadromous salmon fish and freshwater fish shall pay a charge into the Fisheries Fund. For fishing for anadromous salmon in the sea, a charge shall be paid for fishing with fixed gear. Municipalities may exempt schools and other educational institutes from the charge. A fishing permit may be issued for the whole year or only for single fishing days.
