Abstract

The provisions of the Destruction Act (which stand repealed) were transferred to Chapter VIIA of the Health and Welfare of Animals Act. The Act provides that by Decree rules may be made for financial arrangements (whether payments or compensations) for the collection, transportation, processing or disposal of category 1 and category 2 materials as defined in the Act and Council Regulation 1774/2002. This Decree contains such rules.
