Abstract

The yearly quota for Norwegian vessels fishing for shrimps in the waters of Greenland shall be divided into single quotas. More quotas may be allocated to one ship-owner who had in 1993 a shrimp trawl quota for Greenland in accordance with Decree No. 1318 of 1984, but no vessel shall have a quota larger than 10 percent of the total quota. Section 3 specifies criteria for the allocation of single quotas. In allocation a geographical criteria is observed so as to protect quotas of vessels of the north of Norway. (6 sections)
