Abstract

This Decree amends the principal Decree of 1998 to implement provisions of Council Directive 98/83/EC on the quality of water intended for human consumption, excluding natural mineral waters, water used for medicinal purposes and source waters, insofar as not implemented by other legislation, notably the Water Supply Act. This Decree introduces microbiological parameters (art. 14), requires waters to be conform Annex III of the Directive (art. 14a), and appoints an inspection authority (art. 4).
