Abstract The aim of this Decree is to prevent the spreading of salmonella bacteria in relation with the placing on the market of soft bones for pets made out of dried skin of mammals. Official veterinaries shall take samples and carry out tests on samples of such products and if a given lot is infected above a certain level with salmonella it may be barred from the market.
