Abstract This Decree enforces the Fisheries Act. It consists of 22 articles defining requirements to be satisfied for artisanal, semi-industrial and industrial fishing. It lists different types of fishing licences, specifying duties and competencies of granting authorities and special conditions to be satisfied by foreign fishing vessels. 4 annexes lay down model forms for obtaining a fishing licence, as well as technical requirements to be met by fishing gear and markings on board.
