Abstract

This Decree deals with the authorization of breeding (reproduction and utilization) of test animals and determines the obligations of breeders and users. The territorially competent animal health authority may issue the authorization for the operation of breeding, reproduction or experimentation plants. The authority must keep a register of breeding plants falling under its competence. Breeding plants must register the movement of animals, their breed, origin, the number of animals kept in the plant, and disease and death cases. Article 6 regulates in detail the condition of transport of test animals.
