Entry into force notes

The latest consolidated version of this Decree entered into force on 1 January 2014.

Abstract

This Decree applies to animals of protected and highly proteted species, and to specie which has relevance, in terms of nature protection, in the European Union; to animals of species falling under international agreements; and to hybrids of protected and non-protected species. The activities falling under this Decree have to be authorized. There are detailed provisions on keeping, utilization and exposition in Articles 6-13. Special provisions on falconry are set out in Articles 14-16. Administrative procedures are ruled by Articles 17-21. A model request for authorization is shown in annex 4.
