This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.

Abstract

This Decree, consisting of 10 articles, according to Law No. 7.747 of 22 December 1982, establishes that pesticides and other biocidal products specified below are subject to prior registration for being distributed and commercialized, such as: I - phytosanitary or agricultural pesticides as defined by Ordinance No 11 of 24 April 1982 as substances or mixtures of substances of a chemical or biological nature and living organisms intended to prevent, control, destroy, attract or repel any form of pathogen or animal or plant life that is harmful to the useful plants and their products; II - veterinary products, according to Decree Law No. 467 of 13 February 1969, as all preparations of simple or complex formula, of a chemical, pharmaceutical, biological or mixed nature, with defined properties and intended to prevent, diagnose or cure animal diseases, or which may contribute to the maintenance of animal hygiene; III - household sanitizers, as defined by Law No. 6.360, of September 23, 1976, as substances or preparations intended for household sanitation, disinfection or disinfestation, in collective and/or public environments, in places of common use and in the treatment of water.
