Abstract This Decree, composed of three Chapters divided in 62 articles, rules on sanctions applicable to all actions damaging the environment. In particular, it defines main actions or omissions violating the legal provisions on use, promotion, protection and restoration of the environment. The Decree provides a classification of the applicable sanctions dividing them in three main categories: infringements against fauna; infringements against flora; sanctions applicable to pollution and other infringements; infringements against Urban Order and Cultural Heritage; administrative sanctions for actions against environmental authorities.
