Abstract

This Decree prohibits the use of domestic waste or waste of institutions, restaurants, hotels, etc. as feed for animals if that waste has not been sterilized in an installation approved by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority. The Decree specifies conditions and requirements for the approval of sterilization premises and sterilization equipment. The installation shall be inspected at least four times a year by a veterinary inspector appointed by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority.
