The consolidated version of the Decree entered into force on 1 April 2015. Abstract This Decree applies to the use of Natura 2000 grass lands and to their users. If these areas are protected areas as well, special provisions regarding protected areas are also to be applied. The use of Natura 2000 grass lands is regulated in Articles 3-5. Grazing is allowed only for certain animal species, over-grazing and manuring is prohibited. Reaping is also regulated in detail and irrigation is prohibited. Certain activities are subject to authorization. Non indigenous and invasive plant species are to be controlled by mechanical methods or special phytosanitary products.
