Abstract This Decree regulates reuse processes to be applied to hazardous ship-generated waste and cargo residues. It implements articles 31 and 33 of Legislative Decree No. 22 of 1997, which provide for simplified procedures for reusing certain hazardous wastes. Annex 1 of the Decree defines the categories of hazardous wastes admitted to such simplified procedures and describes the related reuse methods.
