This Decree enters into force 180 days after its publication.
Abstract

This Decree approves the Regulation on the control of invasive exotic species. The Regulation, consisting of 6 Chapters, specifies the requirements to be satisfied in order to perform any activity related with the invasive exotic species import, transit and keeping in order to protect National plants and prevent any plant disease. It is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); Competent authorities for the control on invasive exotic species (Chap. II); Prohibited activities, harmful invasive exotic species for the biodiversity (Chaps. III and IV); Authorizations and penalties (Chap. V); Final provisions (Chap. VI).
