Abstract

By this Decree the Republic of Turkey hereby approves the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants. This Convention consists of 30 articles and the text of the Convention in its original Turkish translation. This Convention aims at protecting human health and the environment by taking measures to eliminate or reduce the release of persistent organic pollutants into the environment.
