Article 1 defines the application sphere of the Decree. It shall be prohibited to trade in animals without a permission from the district food control office. Premises where animals are traded shall be approved by the district food control office and shall meet the standards as laid down by the present Decree. The person responsible for trading shall secure that no animals that may cause spreading of infectious diseases shall be traded.
