Abstract

This Decree prohibits in principal fishing for and landing of Greenland halibut by Norwegian vessels north of 62° N in 2011. However, the Decree specifies a total allowable catch of 7650 tons and specifies catch quotas for vessels of a total length less than 28 metres and fishing with conventional gear and larger vessels using trawls. The Decree also deals with bycatch and transshipment.
