Abstract

This Decree prohibits Norwegian vessels in the year 2011 to fish for and deliver demersal fish species listed in article 1 in ICES Statistics Areas X,XII, and XIV in waters that are not under jurisdiction of any State. Exempted from the prohibition are a total of 508 fishing days by maximum 17 Norwegian vessels. The Director of Fisheries may order a stop on fishing after the allocated fishing days are used. Offences shall be punished pursuant to sections 60, 61, 62 and 64 of the Marine Living Resources Act.
