Abstract The Decree prohibits any fishing for or landing of coalfish by Norwegian vessels south of the 62nd parallel in 2002. However, 66.000 tons of coalfish may be fished in the EU-zone of ICES statistics areas IV and IIIa in 2002 (sect. 2).
