This Decree enters into force on 1 January, 1999.
Abstract

The Decree consists of 12 sections divided into 4 Chapters: Scope, application sphere and definitions (I); Supervision programme (II); Control (III); Final provisions (IV). The aim of the Decree is to control diseases specified in section 2 affecting farmed fish and aquatic organisms and to prevent spreading of such diseases to non-farmed fish and aquatic organisms. The State Animal Protection agency shall adopt a control and supervision programme. The same Agency or the county veterinarian may restricts certain movements or handling of fish and establish fish disease control zones (sect. 8).
