The text is divided into 6 Chapters: Prohibition and total allowable catch (1); Fishing in purse seine groups (2); Fishing in trawling groups (3); Fishing in coastal vessels groups (4); General provisions (5); Penal provisions and entry into force (6). This Decree prohibits in principle fishing for and delivery of herring for 2009 in the area to which this Decree applies. Provisions of Chapters II, III, and IV, however, specify catch quotas and conditions for participation in fishing according to the type of fishing vessel.
