This Decree shall remain in force during the year 2009.
Abstract

This Decree prohibits Norwegian fishing vessels to fish for or land argentines in 2009. However, vessels having a permit to use trawls in fishing for argentines in accordance with Decree No. 1157 of 2006 may fish in a specified period up to a periodic quota of 12.000 tons. Single vessels may fish up to 600 tons. Those vessels that are not granted to fishing for argentines are allowed a bycatch of 20 percent in single catches and landed argentines.
