Abstract

This Decree concerns the marking of fishing vessels and vessels used for the hunting for marine mammals. It prescribes 3 classes of vessels for purposes of marking. Section 2 contains rules for the marking of vessels. Section 3 prescribes the size of the marks depending upon to which class the vessel to be marked belongs. The owner of the vessel shall be provided with a marking certificate after control of the correctness of the marking has taken place (sect. 4). If a vessel is transferred to a new Marks District, this shall be notified to the supervisor of the old District and to the county official of the new District (sect. 5). Marking shall be financed by the owner of the ship (sect. 8). (8 sections)
