Abstract

A Decree-Law regulating harbour workers and vessel captains involved in the transportation of polluting substances in or from EU harbours. It does e not apply to war vessels and certain others. This Decree-Law lists all dangerous and polluting substances defining "dangerous substances codes" and competent authorities whom vessel captains must notify. It also specifies vessel landing and embarking requirements; vessel captain obligations, sanctions for trespassers, etc. A specimen model for vessel control, containing all vessel information, is annexed to the text.
