Abstract

This Decree-Law establishes the mandatory inspection regime for equipment for the application of plant protection products authorized for professional use, transposing to the national legislation, in the part relating to equipment for the application of plant protection products, Directive No. 2009/128/EC, of ​​the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October, which establishes a framework for action at Community level for the sustainable use of pesticides and transposes Directive No. 2006/123/EC, of ​​the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December. For the purposes of this Decree-Law, plant protection product application equipment means equipment specifically intended for the application of plant protection products, by land or air, including components and accessories essential for the effective operation of this equipment, such as nozzles, spraying, pressure gauges, filters, sieves and deposit cleaning devices.
