Abstract This Decree-Law establishes the fourth amendment to Decree-Law No. 127/2005 creating the Forestry Intervention Areas (ZIF). Amendments deal with several aspect of the above mentioned sector, such as: promote forest intervention, including private property, particularly small-holdings; land planning and give infrastructures to the territory, in accordance with the Municipal Planning of the Forest Protection against Fire, in view to making it more resilient to forest fires; Change of the territorial delimitation of ZIF or its are as the occurrence of supervening circumstances that, avoid the maintenance of the territorial delimitation; Requirements to submit and approve the plan and responsibility for its implementation.
