Abstract This Decree-Law amends, consolidates and re-publishes (in Annex) Decree-Law No. 16/2009 on the legal regime of the forestry planning, management and intervention. Amendments deal with administrative and legal proceedings, such as: Regional forest management programmes (PROF), establishing the specific rules for using and exploiting forestry resources in accordance with the objectives set forth in the National Strategy for Forests, in order to guarantee their sustained production and use.
