Abstract

This Decree-Law prohibits off-shore foreign fishing activity within the waters under Mozambican jurisdiction. Meanwhile, such activity may be authorized by the Ministry of Fisheries. It consits of 23 articles establishing that authorized foreign fishing vessels must be considered as national. Sanctions and fines for illegal fishing activity are prescribed in the text.
