It consists of 4 chapters and 5 annexes regulating the aforementioned activity in order to protect human health and to reduce environmental damages, in particular in the air, soil, surface and underground freshwater. It is divided as follows: General provisions (chap. 1); Incineration activity (chap. 2); Controls and sanctions (chap. 3); Final provisions (chap. 4). Annexes list dangerous wastes and incineration methods in order to control environmental pollution.
