Abstract

This Decree-Law amends Decree-Law No. 141/98 regulating poultry production and trade within EC countries. Amendments concern sanitary procedures to be applied on poultry production and trade (including eggs and imports originating from third countries) in order to combat the Newcastle disease. It establishes veterinary controls to be carried out (and vaccination requirements) in order to avoid the spreading of the aforesaid animal disease.
