This Decree-Law enters into force 60 days after its publication.
Abstract

This Decree-Law regulates hazardous substances transport by train. The aim of this Decree-Law is to establish, regulate and control all the requirements relevant with the aforementioned activity in order to avoid environmental pollution, according to EC Council Directives No. 96/49 No. 96/87 and Commission Directive No. 1999/48, on the International Transport by Train of Hazardous substances.
