Entry into force notes
This Decree-Law enters into force on 1 January 2018. Article 8 shall enter into force on 1 January 2019 and Article 14-A shall enter into force on 1 January 2022.
Abstract

This Decree-Law establishes the second amendment to Decree-Law No. 306/2007 of 27 August, amended by Decree-Law No. 92/2010 of 26 July, establishing the water quality regime for human consumption, with the aim of protecting human health from the harmful effects resulting from the possible contamination of that water and ensuring the universal provision of clean, balanced and clean water in its composition. Amendments deal with the following issues: Investigation and adoption of corrective measures; Reporting of non-compliance with parametric values; Measures to protect the integrity of supply systems; Refusal to carry out laboratory tests; Laboratory supervision; Verification of water quality compliance, etc.
