This Decree-Law enters into force on the day after its publication.
Abstract

This Decree-Law establishes the first amendment to Decree-Law No. 159/2012 on the implementation of coastal zone management plans (POOC) and establishing offences and penalties applicable for illegal activity. Amendments deal with administrative and legal procedures and in particular establish that monitoring and inspection of compliance is under the APA IP, local organs of the National Maritime Authority and the Maritime Police, the General Directorate of Natural Resources and Maritime Security Services (DGRM), port authorities, local authorities and other legislative enforcement authorities.
